Our Journey: Two Decades of Educational Excellence
In 2009, a passionate former teacher, Wendy, opened the doors of EduToys in Commerce Park, Gaborone. With a deep understanding of classroom needs and child development, she carefully curated educational materials that would make a real difference in children's learning journeys.
By 2015, two entrepreneurial mothers- Dipti and Ashu, seeing the impact of quality educational toys on their own children's development, took the helm. They expanded EduToys' vision, deepening our commitment to serving both parents and educators across Botswana.
Expanding Our Impact From our Broadhurst Industrial location, EduToys has grown into Botswana's trusted educational resource centre. We've proudly expanded our range to support:

Leading Into Tomorrow In 2024, EduToys entered an exciting new chapter under the leadership of Pratisha Narula, bringing her extensive experience in early childhood development and curriculum design from Learn To Play. Her vision combines our founding principles with innovative approaches to mindful play and holistic development, ensuring EduToys continues to evolve while staying true to our core mission of making quality educational materials accessible to all Botswana families.

As the driving force behind EduToys, Pratisha Narula brings a unique blend of early childhood expertise and holistic parenting wisdom, shaped by her impactful role at Learn To Play, Botswana's pioneering mindful play organization. Her comprehensive approach was developed while addressing crucial challenges in African early childhood education, where 3 out of 4 children in Botswana lack access to early learning opportunities.
During her tenure as Head of Curriculum and Product Development at Learn To Play, she deepened her understanding of how play-based learning can transform early childhood education in African contexts. This experience, combined with her certification as a Holistic Christian Sleep and Play Parent Coach and perspective as a mother of two, gives her unique insight into nurturing children's development through mindful play and balanced routines.
